I began writing the screenplay version in June, 2012 and the book shortly thereafter and the topic of Wall Street thievery is hotter than ever!

"By the way, how's that Emma you hooked up with in the Big Apple?" asked Schneider.

Jessica grabbed Jason's crotch and screamed, "Who's getting a Big Apple enema?"

He doubled over in pain. "Are you crazy? Let go!"

Schneider calmly clarified the situation. "Emma's a surfer term for a 'hot chic' Jessica. He was referring to you. No need to take the man down." That relieved some of the pressure. Jason, still in pain sighed with relief and pointed to the door.

Schneider laughed. "Checking the family jewels, eh? You two are going to make me bark the dog!"

Jason ran his hand through his hair. "How's that doomsday pig of yours anyway?" Quantum's ears perked up and he oinked into the phone.

"No bru, puke -- you're making me puke."

MacMillan took a deep breath and got down to business. "Coz, I've been thinking. What do you say we start something big? Something that'll turn the economy right side up and give the little guy a real fighting chance."

Schneider, still on his back scanned the equations on the chalkboard attached to the ceiling until he got to a sentence at the very bottom. It was a quote from a well respected French poet and novelist: “One cannot resist an idea whose time has come”

Trickle Down How The 99% Fought Back and Won

It's 2007 and Americans are losing their homes in the worst economic meltdown since the depression. But payback is underway. A ruthless murderer dubbed "The Monopoly Killer" is on the loose and his victims are some of the richest power brokers in the country.
In this black comedy, Jason Macmillan, a young and wealthy international bond salesman has it all but still wants more – until tragic events force him to reevaluate his life. Finding inspiration from Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi, Macmillan switches from a "One Percenter" to a fighter for the middle class. With the help of his girlfriend Jessica Newman, a shoot-from-the-hip cartoon writer, Macmillan ignites a populist movement called "Enough's Enough" that grows into the tens of millions. They team up with his old Harvard buddy Dr. Cory Schneider, a quirky but brilliant South African physicist, and Dishali Eskaminzim, a struggling Native American farmer from Oklahoma who doesn't speak much-- but when he does -- look out! Together they help turn the nation's two party system upside down and force some of the largest and most powerful corporations to change the way they do business.

I'm just like millions of others who suffered greatly when the housing and credit markets collapsed. After struggling to save for my first home all of my adult life I finally purchased one in 2005 only to see its value plummet a month later. To make things worse, the right wing media blamed people like us -- the hard working middle class -- for buying homes we couldn't afford. As far as they were concerned the banks and other lenders weren't at fault even though they willfully made loans (and lucrative commissions) to people knowing full well they weren't financially qualified.

I decided to fight back by writing a novel: "Trickle Down - How the 99% Fought Back & Won." It's a black comedy where two highly unlikely people become national heroes by unifying the middle class into a powerhouse movement -- "Enough's Enough" -- that finally levels the economic and political playing field with the richest 1%.

My purpose is to inform, but in an entertaining way.

Who knows, perhaps life will imitate art and our democracy can eventually be recaptured from the greedy few who bought our government.
